Writing has always been a passion for Roberto. However, a busy career as a lawyer, kept him very busy and delayed his lifelong dream of becoming a novelist. That has now changed with his first novel, Plight of the Lions. The next novel, The Singularity Factor will be completed soon, followed by the sequel to Plight of the Lions.

 

During the course of his legal career Roberto has been a defense attorney in El Paso and in Houston, Texas. In El Paso he has been a  City Prosecutor, Assistant County Attorney, Assistant Attorney General, and an Assistant District Attorney. Roberto has published legal articles and has lectured across the country to other prosecutors on criminal law issues.

 

Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, Roberto is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas.   Roberto has a passion for playing the guitar, and when not spending time in his music room or working on one of his novels, he is either at one of the local pools swimming laps or at the gym. He loves to travel to Europe and Italy in particular. Las Vegas is another favorite place he enjoys.
